I’m excited to see this movie. Luis Gerardo Mendez is a great actor, This looks like a nice mix of humor and heart...totally gonna check it out.Oh wow, "The Hunts" music made it into this video. Now I really need to watch this movie. XD

This was my first movie seen in theaters since March and I thought it was fun. I was definitely surprised at who directed because as I was watching it I noticed how similar this was to some of the contemporary comedies out of Mexico and was certain this was a cross over from a Mexican director lol. Based on that comparison, the random antics (goats, balloons, chainsaws, etc) in between very dramatic story points isn’t that unusual in those Mexican comedies.
So I didn’t find it that strange which probably led me to enjoy this movie so much. I also realized this concept of a sort of grief comedy is definitely something I’d love to see more of.
Overall it was a good movie ..
